game day menu.

How many of you will be watching the game on Sunday?
While the Seahawks didn't make it (sad face), it would still be just wrong if we didn't.
It's just not American.

We will be going over to my parents house to watch it there and so my mom and I have been chatting about what food we will be making for the rest of the clan.

These are going to be my contributions.

Roasted brussel sprouts with garlic aioli.
My 17 year old brother is completely appalled at the fact that I would bring something that even closely resembles health food.
Whatev, I will eat them by myself if I need to.
Recipe found here.

Lemon goat cheese dip.
Check out the ingredient list. It sounds de-lish.

Banana peanut-butter chocolate chip coconut cookies.
These are going to make me feel not so bad about having a sweet snack as there is no sugar added.
Recipe found here.

My mom is the true rockstar and will be the guaranteed favorite as she is making
brisket sandwiches, chips and queso, spinach dip, veggies, and a few different kinds of chicken wings.

What are you making on the greatest snack day of the year?

  2. Looks so yummy ! I don't watch the game at all. I am un-American, lol. But if I did, I would love to eat all kinds of yummy foods. It sounds like fun. Maybe one day I will watch.

  5. Oh my.
I am totally drooling over those brussel sprouts.
Thinking I am going to have to go to the store first thing in the morning for the ingredients.
    :)
And how pathetic is this... I didn't even realize this sunday was the super bowl.
I'm thinking watching it from a hospital bed with a newborn sounds kind of nice...here's to wishing haha!

  6. Can't wait! And one more bit of Dairy Princess info....more cheese is consumed on Super Bowl Sunday than any other day of the year! Better add that in! And I'm sure I will be helping consume those contributions!!
