As an anniversary celebration for her blog, my good friend CuppaKim hosts a mug swap every year.
Last year was my first and it was so rewarding. This year was equally wonderful.
Kim busted her tail to assign the 800+ participants with the perfect partner.
I would have lost my mind.
I had the pleasure of finding prizes for my friend Cory.
I've gotten to know her through Instagram and remembered our mutual love for all things spicy so adding a bottle of Siracha in the box was a no brainer.
I must admit, I religiously ran to the post office everyday to check to see when my own box would arrive. And when it did, the timing was beyond perfect.
It was the day after Ryan left to go to Alaska and I was feeling a little melancholy.
It may or may not have been a mix of the we just moved/my husband isn't here/pregnancy hormones, but I started to cry before I opened the box.
You see, this girl Kelly, put the upmost detail into every inch of my surprise. She drew triangles, arrows, stripes and + signs on the outside of the box. This was on the inside::
A mug that I have used everyday since and don't even put it in the cupboard because I love it so much, vanilla bean coffee, the exact tea that I have been drinking every morning to keep the morning sickness at bay, chalk and bubbles for my girls, and a journal/pen with arrows all over it. I mean....
Kelly, you blessed me more than you can know.
And thank you, Kim. You are so ba.
