I want to tell you a little bit about our first born...
She is silly. Pretty much all of the time. She has this knack for bringing crazy amounts of life into any room she is in. There isn't much that stays hidden with her.
She is strong. There aren't in betweens with Ashlynn. She is either squealing with glee or dramatically upset. We are training her to be a lady of grace and to treat people the same way. I can already tell that the passion she has is going to be her greatest strength when directed at the right cause.
She is compassionate and desires justice for those who have been wronged. One time our dogs had gotten into some kind of trouble and Ryan was reprimanding them when she walked around the corner. She cried and sobbed about how they were her sweet doggies and how Daddy was hurting their feelings by yelling at them.
She is administrative. I'm not talking about first-born bossiness, but she has a desire to see things in order and and make sure they run smoothly. She is content for hours with a pen and paper making 'lists and notes'.
Her imagination is beyond what I ever anticipated to see in my children. It makes up a large part of who she is. I rarely see her as just "Ashlynn". She can usually be found filling some other role and we are all extras in the play she is walking and talking out. I honestly think the only time she isn't talking about something is when she sleeps. I guess that isn't even true, she regularly has conversations in her sleep too. Last night it was about how she wanted all of the pretty boots in the whole world.
"Though she be but little, she is fierce!"-William Shakespeare
A quote that could not describe our daughter any better.
Ashlynn Taylor, you are beautiful, wild, kind, comical, zealous and fierce. We would not a change a single thing about you. Our lives would be so dull without your sparkle. Keep shining, baby girl. We love you.
